WeiWei is a singer songwriter and Instagram Influencer based in NYC. Born in Changsha, China she moved to the US when she was 4 years old. Growing up, she played violin and piano but being raised with a traditional Chinese mother, a career in music was strongly discouraged. After graduating college, she moved to NYC and worked in Technology as a Data Scientist. Music was always calling her so she decided to take time off to pursue it. Her mission is to pave the way for other Asian artists and creatives to pursue their dreams and step outside of cultural limitations.

Her latest release, “Human Being” was featured on official YouTube and DailyMotion playlists and written about in many blogs and news such as GigSoup, Yorkshire Times, PressParty and streamed in stores such as Accessorize. Prior to that, “They Don’t Know” was streamed over 86,000 times on Spotify and counting. She has been sponsored by companies such as Lancome, Dunkin’ Donuts, Tom Shoes and Janis Studios to produce Instagram content.
